Water sanitization in rural areas

Description

ENEA has developed procedures for sanitizing enterobacteria-polluted water to provide improved drinking-water source and basic sanitation to developing countries’ populations. This ENEA methodology allows to sanitize water by using ozone and low-cost facilities powered by solar panels.

ENEA Activities:

ENEA has designed and developed a specific facility for the treatment of small amounts of water possibly microbiologically polluted to be supplied to rural communities.
