Description
The project by the NGO Comunità Volontari per il Mondo (CVM), funded by MAECI-DGCS through the EU call for applications to support Civil Society Organisations and with ENEA’s technical support, is aimed at increasing both access to clean water and sanitation, and the societal role of women through a sustainable approach in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region.
ENEA Activities:
- Identification and assessment of simpler water purification technologies easy to manage and maintain, particularly in terms of iron removal and fluorides above the limit values
- Enhancement of anaerobic digestion technologies, already adopted in some local ambits, for the production of biogas reducing wood consumption in the involved structures
