goal 12
Goals: 3. Good health and well-being, 6. Clean water and sanitation, 12. Resp. consumption/production

Description

ENEA has developed drinking water production processes to remove excess iron and fluorine, based on sedimentation, adsorption of poor materials (bone char) and filtration.

The facilities to be installed are powered by photovoltaic panels and their size can serve communities up to 10.000 ae. They can be managed and maintained by small local cooperatives that can also produce and supply the basic materials needed for their operation.

Benefits and advantages:

  • Production of safe drinking water
  • Sustainable use of energy
  • Increased local economy
  • Low-cost facilities
  • Easy management and maintenance

Enea Service:

  • design
  • technology transfer
  • technical support
  • consulting
  • training
